Welcome to R4 Style

Welcome

If you’re here, there’s a good chance something in your life has shifted.

R4 Style exists for moments like that—when what was familiar no longer fits, and what comes next isn’t fully clear yet.

This page is here to help you understand what R4 Style is, how this site is organized, and how you might want to explore it—at your own pace.

What Is R4 Style?

R4 Style is a lived approach to navigating major life transitions—
through reflection, writing, and community—
guided by the metaphors of the curb, the crosswalk, and the other side of the street.

It’s built on four interconnected stages:

  • Rock Bottom – when life disrupts what you thought you knew

  • Recovery – tending to what’s been impacted

  • Resilience – learning how to live with what’s changed

  • Reinvention – choosing what comes next without erasing what was

These stages are not linear.
You may move between them more than once.
That’s not failure—that’s lived reality.
