Voices from the Crosswalk is a future space for shared reflection and community voices, currently taking shape with care and intention.
R4 Style is rooted in lived experience, reflection, and the belief that our stories can help illuminate the path forward for others. While much of the writing on R4Style.com comes from my own journey, the work itself has always been larger than one voice.
This page is being developed as a space for selected guest contributors to share personal reflections connected to Rock Bottom, Recovery, Resilience, Reinvention, and the ongoing process of navigating life after disruption.
At this time, Voices from the Crosswalk is not yet open for submissions. The purpose, structure, review process, and future submission guidelines are still being developed.
When launched, this page will stand beside Notes from the Crosswalk as a separate space for community voices, personal insight, and shared reflection.
Guest reflections will focus on lived experience, personal insight, and the process of rebuilding life after disruption.
The hope is to create space for reflections on:
The goal is not to publish advice columns, clinical articles, or prescriptive “how-to” pieces. The goal is to make room for honest, reflective writing rooted in lived experience.
Notes from the Crosswalk remains my primary reflective writing space.
Because Notes from the Crosswalk is written from within lived experience, it does not follow a fixed publication schedule. These reflections are not created simply to meet a content calendar.
They emerge when something needs to be named, understood, processed, or shared.
That rhythm is intentional.
Voices from the Crosswalk will have its own identity and rhythm. Guest reflections will be considered occasionally and selectively, only when they feel aligned with the mission, tone, and spirit of R4 Style.
Coming soon.
More information will be shared when Voices from the Crosswalk is ready to receive and review guest reflections.
