Year-End Countdown Series

Introduction

As the final days of 2025 unfold, I’m slowing down—not to look back with regret, but to reflect with honesty: rock bottom taught me what could no longer stay, recovery showed me how to take the first uncertain steps, resilience carried me across the crosswalk when fear was loud, and reinvention met me quietly on the other side of the street.

Starting tomorrow—Monday, December 22, 2025—I’ll be sharing one reflection each day for the final ten days of the year, not because endings are failures, but because they’re thresholds worth honoring.

If this year challenged you, stretched you, or changed you… you’re not alone.
Let’s walk these last steps together.

Tomorrow, we begin at the curb—ten days, ten steps, walking together toward what’s next.

DAY 10 — Monday, December 22nd

The Curb

The curb is familiar. Predictable. Safe-looking.
But it was never meant to be permanent.

Today, I’m honoring the moment I realized standing still was costing me more than moving forward.

Tomorrow, we keep walking.
